Daniel O. Dodge

Daniel O. Dodge was one of the early settlers on Climax Prairie in Kalamazoo County. He came to Climax Prairie in summer 1832, and entered all of the land in the southwest quarter of Section 2, Climax Township. He served in the militia that year, as a volunteer in one of the later callups of Lyman Daniels' company. His service period was in July, and ended on the 29th.
